A major, multi desciplinary consultancy is seeking a senior engineer. The role comprises all aspects of highway design & the preparation of construction documents to the NEC contract model. There will also be opportunity for short term specialist involvement with overseas projects.
The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate familiarity with current systems procedures concerning Quality Assurance, Health and Safety requirements and the CDM Regulations. Applicants will be chartered*incorporated or working towards an ICE registration in the near future with 10 years good highway design experience.
Knowledge of the DMRB, MCDHW and TSR & GD is essential and the applicant will be used to project managing small teams of engineers on public sectors projects. The candidate will be IT literate and proficient in MS Office*Project & have knowledge of some or all of the following highway design software MX (MOSS), MICRODRAINAGE, AUTOSIGN, AUTOLINE, AUTOTRACK and ARCADY.
